IGI Performing Arts
If you would like to be considered as a concert artist and/or teaching faculty for IGI events please send us your biography, teaching philosophy, photo, and recent live recording; live videos will receive preference. 2007 Administrative Assistant, Gregory Koenig
Gregory Koenig is an active musician as a student, performer, teacher, and scholar. Currently enrolled in studies at the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University. His primary teachers have been Julian Gray and Nathan Fischer. He received an associate’s degree in music from Finger Lakes Community College in 2004. He has further developed his performing by participating in master classes with Steve Aron, Nicolas Goluses, and Raphaella Smits.  Koenig received the Peabody Career Development Grant (2006) to fund an internship with the International Guitar Institute to participate in the Las Vegas , Alexandria , and Rochester Guitar Festivals.  In 2007, Koenig was awarded the Provost’s Undergraduate Research Award from Johns Hopkins University that will fund his travel and study with Professor Chen Zhi at the Beijing Central Conservatory during the summer of 2007.
